Seasonal Living

In the natural world around us everything exists cyclically, in a harmonious rhythm and flow. From sunrise to sunset, from spring through til winter.

 

These cycles and seasons are the very foundations upon which our planet, and all life upon it, flourishes and thrives.

 

As human beings we are very much a part of nature - we are nature - but modern living, with its bright lights, fast pace and ever expanding technology, can distract and disconnect us from this natural rhythm and flow. This can lead to stress, anxiety, exhaustion, physical and  emotional dis-ease.

 

Seasonal living reconnects us. And when we realign with those cycles and seasons, we too, flourish and thrive.

 

There are many practices that can help bring us back to nature. Forest bathing, eating seasonally, working with plants and herbs. Observing the phases of the moon and honouring the elements of the seasons. Learning to slow down and be present in the here and now. 

 

As with all holistic practices, learning to embrace Seasonal Living is an individual journey for everyone. 

 

My own journey has been truly transformational and I’ve been blessed to have gained knowledge and wisdom from some wonderful teachers. It’s a privilege for me to be able to share this now and offer my guidance and support to others.
