Ayurveda
Ayurveda is one of the oldest health systems in the world, dating back over 5,000 years and often referred to as ‘the sister science’ of yoga.

The word Ayurveda translates as ‘the knowledge of life’ - ‘Ayur’ meaning life, ‘Veda’ meaning knowledge.
Ayurveda is a holistic healing system. It’s principles are based on the belief that good health and wellbeing rely upon a delicate balance between body, mind and spirit. It encompasses all aspects of lifestyle - how we move, how we eat, how we sleep, and how we live day to day.
It recognises that we are all unique individuals and that when it comes to maintaining health and vitality - one size does not fit all.
Instead, it teaches us how to use our awareness and intuition to reach a place of optimum wellbeing, harmony and balance.
I’ve been so fortunate to have studied the principles of Ayurveda with the most knowledgeable teacher, who brings a modern and accessible approach to an ancient and honoured practice.
